05/23/22 Differences in Emotional Expressivity

EMOTIONS

Happiness, sadness, fear,  loneliness, love.

Emotions are important. They allow us to express how we feel and how we are dealing with life, work relationships. When children can’t express emotion they suffer because they aren’t able to express themselves with plenty. According to UNICEF most kids grow up without love, and emotional affection on behalf of their parents. Because of that they cant show their feelings like the other kids. Also the children that suffer violence in any form can develop this problem.

Emotions can be different in how we show them in every culture. Emotional culture is hard for the teacher, specially when we have a class that is multicultural, the teacher must learn how the students show their emotions in every culture.

Emotional Expressivity can be hard to handle in a class because as teachers we might misunderstand our students’ emotions by their actions when they could really be expressing something else.To avoid that is important to get to know our students very well and be their friends.

Without emotions we coudnt feel and felt the world.
